It is good to have several people in our company certified in certain areas. This way, we ensure there is always someone available to take action in a timely manner.

TEAM

It is easy to see that developments in our IT world are moving at breakneck speed. It is crucial for us to continue receiving the right training and certifications. What do our clients actually benefit from? What topics do we delve deeper into? And also: what is important for the personal development of our team?
In recent weeks, almost all Agerion IT team members have enthusiastically delved into new topics or explored them in more depth. Take Luuk, Arthi, and Coen, for example, who further specialized in the world of Unifi Ubuiqiti.
Ubuiqiti Networks is a renowned company specializing in advanced networking equipment. Founded in 2005 by a former Apple engineer, it has become known for affordable, scalable, and user-friendly networking solutions. Agerion IT enjoys working with this hardware for precisely this reason.

This certification focused not only on the UniFi Access Point, virtual networks, and guest networks (including robust authentication methods!), but also briefly reviewed the basics of radio frequencies. How do we achieve the best possible network coverage with good data transfer speeds? "We continue to strive for excellent networks," says Arthi. "We can still learn more in that area."
Another training session was provided in-house by GO Company. At Agerion, we work with an enthusiastic group of project, test, and interim IT managers. We are known for our hands-on approach and cramming as much work as possible into a day. A worthwhile goal. Could we actually do that more efficiently?
Work smarter, not harder
The GO training specifically focused on how to best organize your work. Are you working on the right tasks? And are you performing them correctly? Trainer Joop van Baal examined our colleagues' workdays. With the GO method, you plan your work from your calendar. This gives you a clear (and realistic!) overview and allows you to communicate clearly with colleagues about what you will/won't be doing and when.
Putting it into practice now
"An interesting method that could easily save me time during my workday. I am very curious to see if I can maintain this when things get busier and more chaotic," shares colleague Judith de Koning. It has changed my schedule instantly. I have email intake twice a day, regular meetings, and also ad hoc time. This creates a lot of clarity right away – I can tell people directly what is realistic and what is not.

Earlier this month, Arthihan and Nick attended a Microsoft session on Copilot. Given the unfamiliar terrain for many business users, it is crucial to prepare teams interactively for using the Microsoft Copilot virtual assistant. How can we break old habits and utilize Copilot effectively and safely? This is an additional contribution to our Copilot training courses.

Another practical example of our inquisitive mindset was our colleague Jari Kleijne. He and his project team won the "Creating Impact with Data" program at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
Semester 6 concluded in a wonderful afternoon session, featuring the highly engaging keynote speaker Jan Jonker. We are incredibly proud of Jari and his fellow students for creating a meaningful "Acceleration Dashboard." This way, data truly helps solve business challenges. Congratulations again, Jari!
