e-Business Travel chooses IT support and technical infrastructure updates

As a business traveler in the Randstad, you have probably heard of e-Business Travel. Dozens of travel consultants from their offices in Oud-Beijerland, Hoofddorp, and 's-Hertogenbosch devise travel solutions worldwide. Think of perfect connections, your favorite seat on the plane, and local transportation, as well as the best accommodations, insurance, and visas worldwide. This versatile company operates 24/7 and operates within a network of global contacts and time zones. This requires a robust IT solution.

Time-resistant IT environment

As newcomers to the Scheepmakershaven harbor, Agerion IT met with Cees Bas, Managing Director of e-Business Travel, and Frans Fiegge, its in-house IT expert. With a growth-oriented mindset, they felt it was high time to take a fresh look at e-Business Travel's IT landscape. Together with Stefan Frerichs and Arthihan Velauthapillai, among others, they developed a plan to create a time-proof IT environment.

This plan was implemented in two phases in 2022:

1. IT Support

For e-Business Travel, it is crucial to be always available and connected to the world. At the beginning of this year, Agerion IT established first- and second-line support for this purpose.

Agerion thinks very well as a partner with us, at an accessible level, which makes us feel we can quickly achieve optimal collaboration. 2. IT Infrastructure

Once stable IT support was in place, an infrastructure update began. All workstations, switches, cloud environments, routers, and more were reviewed and updated where necessary. This represents a significant improvement in efficiency and security within e-Business Travel.

3. IT Software update

In the coming months, Agerion e-Business Travel will be helping to update the software systems that run on older Windows versions and are outdated in many areas. Therefore, the decision has been made to completely update the software systems to the latest state of the art and capabilities.
