Agerion IT finalist at the Hoeksche Waard Business Award

After months of anticipation, the finals of the Hoeksche Waard Business Award finally arrived last night. At the Business Gala, the finalists in all categories were put in the spotlight. Coen and Stefan, as finalists, represented Agerion IT in the "Business Award" category.

The Hoeksche Waard region has long been known to be brimming with entrepreneurship. With many start-ups, rapidly growing, and renowned organizations, the island remains a great place to live and work.

To challenge and encourage this entrepreneurship, the Hoeksche Waard Business Association (OHW), Startersnetwerk, and the Society for Trade and Industry organize the annual Entrepreneurs' Gala. This event, which runs for several months, recognizes the best in three special categories: the Starters' Award, the Social Impact Award, and the Entrepreneurs' Award.

This selection process narrowed it down to just three finalists. Along with fellow entrepreneurs like Jeroen de Ruiter and Kars van Dijk, we stood on stage in anticipation on Thursday evening, May 16th. After watching three wonderful corporate films, the moment arrived. We held our breath and applauded with joy for Het Goudwisselkantoor. This wonderful organization, with a rich history and an impressive 420 employees, took home the Entrepreneurship Award.

A beautiful certificate, along with the extensive jury report, now sits at our office in Oud-Beijerland. Once we received these special words, our own team added to them. They also presented us with two beautiful (and tasteful!) packages to celebrate how far we have come together. A special moment, because without our team, we would be nowhere.

That is why we would like to thank all our fantastic team members who work hard every day to make Agerion IT a success. It was an honor to be nominated and to have made it so far in this competition. Another great experience for the books!
